Summer Internship Available!

BRIDGES is currently accepting applications for our development/fundraising internship for Summer 2012.  To apply, please email your cover letter and resume to Julia McWhirter, Director of Community Engagement, at jmcwhirter@bridgesusa.org by May 5th.

DEVELOPMENT/FUNDRAISING INTERN

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide administrative support to the entire development team by assisting in donor database management and participating in the planning, development, and implementation of various fundraising programs, special events and/or philanthropic initiatives.

POSITION BENEFITS:

College Corps Program

College Corps members

  • Serve as volunteers, interns and staff for BRIDGES
  • Connect with real-world community issues
  • Gain valuable training in leadership, social justice and community organizing
  • Empower youth to create social change in Memphis

How does it work?

The College Corps program follows the academic calendar and supports varying levels of interest and commitment among college students and young adults. Find out what College Corps Service Options are available to YOU!

What’s involved

All College Corps members are required to attend a mandatory foundational training session. Throughout the year, College Corps members volunteer in BRIDGES youth programs and have the opportunity to attend additional social events, trainings, and meetings focused on: leadership, social justice, and leading social change in Memphis.

How do I apply?

The application for College Corps Year Program is now closed. If you would like to get involved next fall, please email us at collegecorps@bridgesusa.org.

All college students and young adults with a high school degree or equivalent can fill out BRIDGES College Corps application online. Previous College Corps members must reapply each year to be considered for the program.   For more information email collegecorps@bridgesusa.org.
